Social Welfare Service works by collecting and reviewing internship applications from students across various academic fields, carefully matching each applicant with a suitable partner organization based on their skills, academic background, and availability. Once matched, an offical placement letter is sissued on Social Welfare Service's letterhead, giving students cerdible and recognized access to their host organization.
Throughout the internship, the organization provides continous mentorship and supervision to ensure a productive and meaningful experience. Upon successful completion, students receive an official certificate acknowledged by partner organizations. Social Welfare Service handles all coordination, documentation, and communication between the student and the host organization, ensuring a smooth and professional process from start to finish all at no cost to the student.
Social Welfare Service operates through a clear and organized structure designed to ensure smooth delivery of its internship facilitation programme. At the leadership level, the executive committee oversees the overall direction, partnerships, and strategic decisions of the organization. Under this, a dedicated internship facilitation unit manages the day to day operations of the programme.
The workflow begins with application collection, where students from various academic backgrounds submit their internship requests. The unit then reviews and evaluates each application, assessing the applicant's field of study, skills, and availability. Based on this assessment, students are carefully matched with suitable partner organizations from relevant sectors.
Once matched, the unit prepares and issues an official placement letter on Social Welfare Service's letterhead. A designated supervisor or mentor is then assigned to guide the student throughout the internship period. Regular follow-ups are conducted to monitor progress and address any challenges faced by the student or the host organization.
Upon successful completion of the internship, the unit processes and issues an official completion certificate recognized by partner organizations. All documentation, feedback, and records are maintained systematically for future reference and organizational accountability.
Partner organizations including colleges, hospitals, government bodies, NGOs, media outlets, and professional firms are onboarded and maintained through an active partnership management process, ensuring a growing and reliable network across every sector in Nepal.
