Community Welfare Program

The Community Welfare Programme is a flagship initiative of Social Welfare Service (SWS) designed to address the welfare needs of communities across Nepal — particularly those in rural, remote, and underserved areas.

Through this programme, SWS works directly with communities, local government bodies, NGOs, and civil society organisations to identify welfare gaps and provide practical, sustainable support. Our approach is human-centred, transparent, and rooted in the belief that every Nepali citizen deserves access to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive.

What We Do:
- Conduct welfare needs assessments in communities across all provinces
- Connect community members with relevant government services and support systems
- Facilitate access to educational, health, and professional resources
- Coordinate with local NGOs, INGOs, and municipal offices for welfare delivery
- Support vulnerable populations including youth, women, and marginalised communities

Our Reach:
The Community Welfare Programme operates across all 7 provinces of Nepal. We are committed to expanding our reach beyond Kathmandu Valley into rural and semi-urban communities where welfare support is most needed.
